Pedro Memelsdorff (2014)
During the Annual meeting 2014 on 12 april 2014, the Jan Pieter Heije
Prize has been awarded to Pedro Memelsdorff, musicologist and director of the
Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Basel, Switzerland) for his dissertation The
Filiation and Transmission of Instrumental Polyphony in Late Medieval Italy:
the Codex Faenza 117 (Utrecht University 2010, promotor prof. dr. Karl
Kügle). The dissertation can viewed in several Dutch University
Libraries. The author is preparing a "handelseditie" which will be published
by Brepols Publishers. A facsimile edition has been published in 2013.
