Dr. Annelies Andries

Annelies Andries (1985) is assistant professor at Utrecht University. She obtained her PhD from Yale University with a PhD on opera and elite identity formation in Napoleonic France. Her research focuses on topics of music, politics and conflict, also involving questions of trauma, medical history, gender and colonialism.
