Dr. Martin van Schaik

Martin van Schaik (1955) is a musicologist who is specialized in music history of the antiquity and the Middle Ages. He is a former Assistant Professor of medieval music at Utrecht University. His research is largely focused on ancient musical instruments and music terminology of the Middle Ages. He participates in the International Study Group on Music Archaeology.  In addition, he has his own text office TextProducts. Member of the board since 2017.
