Nicola Stevenson is a Scottish flautist and piccolo player who is currently based in Amsterdam, having recently completed a Masters degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. She has performed orchestrally with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Camerata and the Opera de Baugé Festival Orchestra and has received training in the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. She has a particular interest in contemporary music and has recently performed in Tivoli Vredenburg as soloist in a work for electric glissando flute and percussion ensemble, workshopped and performed a new opera as part of the Opera Forward Festival in Het Nationale Opera en Ballet and she collaborates regularly with composers for performances of new works.

Maris Pajuste is an Estonian vocalist based in Brussels. She is active as a soloist as well as an ensemble singer mainly focusing on contemporary performance. Her main interests lie in collaborative performer-composer relationships. The voice is a universal instrument of sound that is inherently relatable. Every sound we make can be interesting or beautiful and thus connect the ordinary with the extraordinary.

She first studied musicology, obtaining her bachelor’s degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre after which she continued her studies in Berlin, Germany. Her Classical Voice studies started in 2015 in the Codarts University of Arts under Charlotte Riedijk. She got her master’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in 2021 under Anne Cambier. Specializing in contemporary music, she graduated the Ictus Academy (Master’s programme MANAMA) at the KASK Conservatory of Gent in 2023. She is the co-founder of a newly born contemporary music collective TUUM.

Ruben Borges Rúben Borges (1994), studied clarinet at the Academy of Music of Costa Cabral. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition from Escola Superior de Música, Artes e Espetáculo (ESMAE) and a cum laude Masters’ degree in Composition from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. In 2023, he graduated from the Advanced Master’s Program in Contemporary Music under the guidance of ICTUS ensemble and SPECTRA ensemble at the Royal Conservatory/School of Arts in Ghent.

He Has collaborated with several musicians from the Portuguese national panorama and was awarded in the 6th and 7th editions of the “21st Century Composition Award”, organized by ARTEAM. In 2018 was a resident artist at the Estalagem da Ponta do Sol Contemporary Music and Electronics Residency, in Madeira (Portugal). He co-founded the collaborative structure BANQUETE, of multidisciplinary research and creation in the arts, of which he is an associate researcher and creator.

Marta GoÅ‚ka, born and raised in Poland, is an Amsterdam-based bass player and composer. She moved to the Netherlands in her early 20s to pursue education in music and has since earned her Bachelor and Master degree in jazz from the Conservatory of Amsterdam. As a side player in various projects, she performed on such festivals and stages as Paradiso, Patronaat, Amsterdam Dance Event, Into the Woods and many others. In October 2023, together with her instrumental prog fusion project Josef Kowalsky, she released the debut EP Flares, which was very well received and started to gain the band attention on the (inter)national jazz and cross-over scene. Marta is currently working as a bass teacher as well as writing and producing music for Josef Kowalsky and her solo singer-songwriter project ata sama. Both acts are expected to have new releases in 2025.
